I'm pretty new to the area, and I had been having a hard time meeting people. The other night I was out capturing PokeStops and someone walked by, showing me their phone to show they were playing Pokemon™ Go. I couldn't help but laugh! We got talking and now are going on a date next week.
"A guy I know Tom (big ginger beard) asked me where's good for a beard trim...thought it was silly asking me so I just said 'there's a guy with us with a massive beard...ask him.' But because the severs where down there was a lot of chat it was great; This was at the Pokemon™ Reddit Manchester meetup.
"I was hanging out in an area of the city midway between 3 PokeStops, I noticed a bunch of other people focusing on their phones. When I looked up, everyone had these sheepish smiles on their faces. You just knew we were all there taking advantage of the XP and pokeballs. Eventually we started talking and now we have a 'group' who meets there at lunch."
